In 1908, A.J. Bush started a tomato cannery to provide opportunity for his family and community. Within a few years the company added many varieties of local and southern produce. Innovation during the 1940s led to the use of dry beans. The development of the Baked Bean in the late 1960s expanded that usage even further. Since that time the canned dry edible bean market has been the center of the company’s production efforts.
Now 100 years after that initial vision we are celebrating. Please plan to join Bush Brothers and Company as we commemorate our Centennial. We will host the final evening of the U.S. Dry Bean Convention at our Chestnut Hill manufacturing facility.
